Yet another post...
Yesterday, I went to watch
The Leap Years with
Zhiwei and her BF, Mau and Zhi(which Mau dragged along.) O.o And it was good tt Mau dragged Zhi along, or else I dunno what will happen to me...
Ok let me start right from the begining. It was abt 1.30.. I was supposed to meet Mau and Zhi at CCK station 1/2 hr b4 tt but I was late coz I was vacuuming the floor and I thought I told them I'll only meet at 1.30 so I kinda took my time. =p They were certainly pissed...
And I wore baggy army pants with my Innova orientation tee coz like all of them(except Zhiwei's BF) were wearing sch uniform, so I felt I had to wear some form of a sch U to blend in.. In the end both Mau and Zhi said I
look like a guy (Mau even said tt her BF will get jealous if he sees me with her. Like, seriously?! This reminds me of spastic old JK saying tt I look like Qi Jun, a guy frm his sec sch.. like erm...)
and I look very weird. Haiz.. The desperate attempt 2 blend in fails!!! Lol.
So we spent 3 hours waiting for Zhiwei to b released from sch. Then we met up slightly with her BF at Jurong Point upon our arrival. Er.. 2 put it bluntly...
the 1st impression he gave me was tt... he's short. Dots.... I'm being evil!!! (Cannot b evil, QNing! ARGH! *Tries to cancel...*) [I later realised
he was slouching so yea, the saving grace.]Then aft tt he decided to wander off by himself, and most probably bcoz
Mau wanted to buy hair accessories, which guys will never relate to... We took a long time finding accessories tt Mau would like, and Zhi tried to b funny and
tried different hairbands on me... with each 1 looking stupider than the previous 1... (I dun really like hairbands coz everytime i put 1 on it feels like my head is being squeezed... But amazingly as she put it on my head it didn't feel tt bad. I think coz it was covered by cloth, so it didn't feel so painful.. )
Then
suddenly Mau's BF, Rex, arrived. O.o Both Zhi and I didn't know he was coming. Stunned. He still
formally introduced himself and shook hands with us. Just when my hands were cold and getting cold sweat as usual. Haiz lol. He's an
ex-national basketball player and he's
180 cm or something. O.o And then the 2 lovebirds wanted to go to the lib and therefore left Zhi and me to our own devices. C what I mean earlier?!
If she didn't drag Zhi along I'll hav to shop around JP aimlessly by myself for abt 1 hr, I guess. Although I could but I'm glad to hav company... ^^ And so newly-reminded of our single status, we shopped aimlessly together and went to the pet shop...
All the dogs r so cute! ^^ Aww~Zhiwei was abt to arrive so Zhi, I, Mau and Rex waited near the escalator for her. Mau was so bored she
started to pull my shoelaces.. I guess some things never change do they? -__-" Then she never pull Zhi's.. (biased or what?!) And then she
tried to step on Rex's foot or something and in the end they
kinda cha-cha-ed in the middle of JP as they tried to step on each other's foot, holding hands while at it. -_____-" Zhi and I almost wanted 2 escape in embarrassment......like erm...
Finally,
the big-shot Zhiwei arrived! Accompanied by her BF and-surprise surprise,
Shimin!!! Long time no c!!! =D But she
wasn't going to watch the movie, she just wanted to c us coz so long nvr meet up le. Aft we confirmed on Mau's bday present, we split up as Zhiwei and Paul wanted their private space...So Shimin, Zhi and I again shopped aimlessly waiting for the movie which would only b screened at 4.40 -.- Like help. So just talked with Shimin while walking around.. haha.
Even saw raymond walking around with his frens. And then they were approached by yet another student asking for donations.. (there were a lot around tt day and we had encountered many, all whom we refused...) and they tried to rope us in to buy the ticket together. -.- We escaped immediately....
Ok now finally I am going to talk abt the movie. Aft bidding goodbye to Rex(he wasn't free to watch) and Shimin(want to go home and slp, lol.) , we finally got into the theatre. Like how long hav I been waitin/shopping aimlessly like a headless fly/going round JP in circles juz for this?!
The movie was slightly above my expectations.. The
acting was kinda convincing.. But too bad the plot wasn't. I mean...
would u wait 12 years for a man/woman u only met thrice? As in
once in 4 years? Although u can feel that there is the
chemistry between them tt made them so faithful to each other, I just felt tt the
story was a little far-flung... Well at least we didn't watch Meet the Spartans instead (at which Mau and Zhi expressed great interest. *faints...*)
Wow write until so long. My fingers also tired liao. Argh. I think I'll be
writing even more abt Mau's bday chalet. I seriously need to brush up my summary skills!!!
