I know my blog is dead.. Man haha thanks for the various reminders on my tagboard.. Lol.
So.... Ta-Da! Here's a post aft at least 6 weeks of inactivity on the blog!!
It's 8.9 I know, but it's the
100th post according to the count because I put related posts or quizzes as _._5 to indicate that it is not really considered a post by itself. But oh well =X
It has been more than a year since I first started this blog. Thanks every1 for reading and checking baq even when there are no posts.. Lol X_x So, to celebrate this special post, I shall hav a good, decently long post! Hoho. And since I didn't update for so long, I hav lots of things to say I guess, so to summarize these...
I present, the all-rounded status updates! =D
Physical:Have not intensely moved since Leadership Training Camp (LTC). Esp the "London Bridge" crawling activity which was much harder than expected. Down with illness since then. Constantly lethargic.
Academia:Horrible. Heard tt we are getting results tomorrow. I can die. Serious. But nobody believes me.. They all said, esp Zhi, that I said tt last sem as well but was far from dying. Right ok.. But this sem is really a killer becoz I slacked, and tt it was really difficult too. Esp Biochem and Biostats. *pukes blood* I've been having the occasional panic attack today in dread of tomorrow.
Also, I've prepared files for arranging materials next sem aft looking through the syllabus, and boy is it going to get tougher than ever. I think I shall look through my sister's Anatomy books if I have enough self discipline to do so. Better sooner than later.
Recent activity (internet):Mostly still appearing offline due to fear of having peace disrupted.
Active on Facebook, esp Mafia Wars, Farm Town and Sorority Life. Occasionally on actually more time-worthy and educational games like Word Challenge and Geo Challenge (which my sister remains a complete noob at), as well as commenting on photos such as those from the recently 'hot' method of tagging friends to cartoon characters that describe their personality. The wonders of Facebook... -.=
The only game that I play now which has more interactive elements and is more worthwhile to be called a game is Naruto LF2. D/l during exam period and got hooked... (-.-) and I d/l a better ver. aft the exams. Still playin on that ver. from time to time. Recently using Chiyo more often.. Realised tt she's quite useful and I pit Chiyo against Sasori for the reminiscence of the final battle of Sasori.
Yes, and of coz, I'm still reading manga and watching anime more than ever since holidays started! Been reading shounen one-shots, and I've been checking out To-Love-Ru, which I've heard abt in manga discussions, and also, Fukuda in Bakuman practically gave To-Love-Ru free advertisment, proclaiming that it's his fav manga. So I thought it shld be pretty cool to check out. (Anyway, I couldn't resist, and bought Bk 1 of Bakuman. There are currently no other tankobons available, although there are still releases of each chapt per week. I'm hooked :X)
Anyway To-Love-Ru was at first rather funny, and the protagonist, Rito was rather cute (he looks like Sora from Kingdom Hearts). But it just got more meaningless and ecchi, and I kinda understood why Mashiro was amazed that Fukuda proclaimed that it was his fave manga, thinking that 'he's that kind of person'. LOl. I still read from time to time though. Re-read bits of Naruto to refresh on plot developments and will do the same for Bleach soon perhaps bcoz as I read the recent chapts I'm alr forgetting why they r fighting in the 1st place T_T Do check out Kuroko no Basuke as well, it has pretty good potential as a basketball manga.
And on the anime side I've been watching Toradora!. I wanted to watch a long time ago since I saw it on okto. Still at the early parts though. Recommended :)))
Elaine recommended me Chrome Shelled Regios which is not bad too. Was shocked to see Felli in the maid outfit.. Recalled tt I did see this image on an anime blog once, which commented smth to the like of "admit it, we watch CSR to see Felli in the maid outfit!!" LOl. Still hav lots of questions regarding Fon-fon's past. X_x
Friends:Haven met up with frens for quite some time except for poly frens, coz I mostly stay at home to rest so that I can go to Hong Kong for holiday, fit and healthy.. (yes I'm going to HK!!! Yay!) Went shopping with them etc. And also have some CIP activities (Namely, Project Papyrus, which is also exhausting... I couldn't sleep in peace ystd as I recalled the paper making process the moment I closed my eyes. {Pour pulp... spread pulp.. lift out sieve.. lay plastic.. press water out.. squeeze on towel.. take out and lay together with other paper to make 100 sq m of handmade recycled paper for world record breaking attempt... Frm the effort required, no wonder it's a world record breaking event.......)
Am out now in the lib with Cons (haven't met up in ages) whr Cons is being noobified as usual.. Unable to help her out with Vectors. Looks quite horrifying. Oh well.
Anyway I did meet some ppl coincidentally once now that I think abt it.. And I learnt tt 'when too many coincidences happen within the same building, it's raining'. LOl. Met Jocelyn (i think tt's her name...) who transferred out of Innova to SP.. She wanted to go NYP, but aft that she decided against it (why? Ahh no BPians in NYP seriously except during the MicroBiology Quiz for Sec Schools... -.=). We talked for the 1st time o.o I was quite shocked tt she approached me, and she knew tt I'm in NYP.. Prob bcoz of Wanting and the others, haha :X Then saw Brenda and her junior.. Think I saw Siying but didn't dare to approach coz it might not b her.. And then just when I was about to go home hoping that the rain had subsided, I met Pamela and Simin and shopped around more with them until it was almost 7. Finally thought of a way to have my pencil case's tail be more useful, and gave it to Pamela and Simin to give it to JK for his bday. Lol.
