Haha, I guess the 1st thing u would notice about my blog now is the icons at the side! ^_^ Haha they're so cool I couldn't resist
koping them for use in my own blog. Notice tt Rhode is under 'Dreams', Miranda under 'Time record' and Bookman under 'Stats'? (And other appropriate icons for the subheadings) I played with the icons for quite some time last night tt I only slept at 1 X_X Haha they shld hav a Noise Marie icon! Then I can put it under 'Noel Organon'! (But that space is alr squashed..) I

Haven't updated in a while.. Anyway it's confirmed, Yijun and I will be heading to Chiangrai from 14-27 Sept! Hurray! =DDD
On the other hand my sis is headed for Hamamatsu, Japan for a study trip as well!!!! AHHH!!!! AWESOME!!! It's in between Tokyo and Osaka... Haha I've never heard of Hamamatsu until ystd. Gawd. And mayb they get to stay with the students on home stays as well! So cool~~~ Oh my god.. Haha any1 wants to lend me their Jap book?? Coz my sis seriously needs it, her Jap is even worse then mine, which says something. LOl.
Went to a hospice near Mt. A on tuesday (tt's how we got selected for the Chiangrai trip in the 1st place).. Had entertainment programs for the elderly there.. I tried to get them to b more active in the games we had organised, but they sorta ignored me.. (reminds me of the times in Bethany Home..) Yijun was so great baq there... She could think up of another game when our programme ended earlier than expected.. And she was grabbed by the waist by an old man to dance tgt during the singing session.. And she just went with the flow although she was quite disturbed... 辛苦你咯...
I think the more enriching part of the trip was when we got to talk to the elderly... Haha there was a friendly auntie tt I (and another girl whom I forgot the name of) talked to.. It was rather sad at the same time.. She didn't marry and doesn't hav any1 to take care of her at home as her roommate often goes out on sweeping duties.. And having cancer for the past 2 years, she seems prepared tt she'll leave at any moment.. But at least she makes full use of her days.. Comes to the hospice to socialise, play mahjong etc.. You know, dun think too much abt death.. or else u'll only spend the rest of ur life in despair which is not a nice option.. Treasure life while it lasts! :)
Haha. The teacher even cried while talking to 1 of the elderly. =X
And now, since we have been chosen for the trip along with lots of other ppl tt we dun really know (except for my sis's frens Zheng Yi and Ting Shu [which my sis keeps saying is a piece of shit..]) The impt thing, as 1 of them said, is ice-breakers! LOl.. Which will b held aft the exams. =/ Hmm. And Yijun and I just realised while on the bus baq to NYP (she lost her wallet on the hired bus, so I accompany her go baq and get it -.= ) tt 1 of the guys we found rather familar in the grp is actually the OGL for PS0802! (Lol. We think. I vaguely rmb him doing the 'kamikaze!'.. X_x)
Talkin abt OGL.. My sis knows Augustine!!! The 'humping' guy!! LOl.. From friendster last time.. Just talked online and on friendster in the past (prob during JC...) Haha like ystd she said she saw a familiar face in the lib and they kept staring at each other coz they can't recognize each other.. Lol.. She said his hairstyle changed.. Then she show me the friendster profile... And I realised tt Singapore is really darn small.................. X_X
